Joellen is the owner of Great Expectations Stables and is a lifelong equine enthusiast. Joellen spent forty years in the nursing profession before retiring and becoming an Equine Specialist. She is passionate about helping others and offers a unique perspective as she blends her skill sets into the facilitation of sessions. Joellen is certified in the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning (EAGALA) model of counseling with horses and works in partnership with our mental health therapists and equine teammates to provide this service to clients.
